Why this site exists
GoRouter.dev brings the original routing guides back into reach and gives current Flutter developers a readable path through navigation decisions. The current domain owner has commissioned this restoration of the project documentation.
The package and this website
The original repository states that go_router moved to Flutter engineering as of release 3.0.2. Package maintenance continues in flutter/packages. Restoring this domain does not change the package's upstream maintainers or release process.
What was recovered
The original repository snapshot contains English and Japanese documentation, nine documentation images and animations, package source, tests, and example applications. Recovered historical text has a visible version notice. The contemporary field guide is a new editorial edition based on current primary API documentation.
What the explorer does
The browser explorer demonstrates URL matching with JavaScript. It does not run the Flutter SDK, compile Dart, verify platform app links, or contact a backend. It is designed to make routing decisions visible before you move to a real application.
