How this guide is maintained
Primary sources, explicit versions, reproducible examples, and clear separation between history and current APIs.
Source hierarchy
Current API claims use the published Pub package documentation, package metadata, Flutter documentation, and upstream source. Historical claims use preserved web captures and the original project repository. Search snippets alone are not treated as API evidence.
Version boundaries
The current edition references go_router 18.1.1. Historical guides retain a 2022 notice. Old names such as navigatorBuilder are explained in their original context and paired with current shell guidance, rather than silently relabeled as modern APIs.
Examples and testing
Code examples may refer to application-owned widgets or services and say so where needed. The route explorer runs its own JavaScript matching logic. A successful explorer result is not described as a Flutter build or device test. Platform behavior must be validated with the relevant SDK and target device.
Corrections and credits
Preserved source carries its original credits and BSD license. Contributor names are historical acknowledgements, not an invented current staff roster. Source dates and publication dates are distinguished where they affect the meaning of a guide.
